Davis // 2025 Famiy

Last winter, the Davis family gifted their parents a photo session for Christmas. I was so excited when they reached out to schedule their extended family shoot for this summer!

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for a late August date. The session took place at a family friend’s gorgeous property which gave us so many options during golden hour.

Extended family sessions are so much fun for me to photograph because there are plenty of different groupings to capture. I love being able to document what each individual family unit looks like, as well as get shots of the entire crew! It’s also always high on my list to make sure that each child has individual photos and that there are a few with just grandma and grandpa with their grandkids!

I come from a large family and I know how hard it is to remember to take those family photos with everyone in them. Scheduling a family session is a great way to make sure that you are documenting life with those who mean the most to you! Plus, if we have time during your sessions we can squeeze in all sorts of variations to make sure we’ve got it all covered.
